Analyzing European Elections

Factiverse analyzed 128 factual claims during MTV’s Finnish regional and municipal election chairmanship exam in April 2024.

Factiverse generated near real-time transcriptions, extracted factual claims, and assessed their accuracy using trusted Finnish sources. While human editors remain essential for final verification, Factiverse successfully supported or contextualized about half of the claims, demonstrating its value as a fact-checking aid in Finnish-language political coverage.
