The story of Factiverse

Factiverse was born from a researcher's concern and a journalist's conviction. Troubled by the rise of online misinformation, Vinay Setty, an associate professor of machine learning at UIS, developed ML/NLP research to detect disinformation at scale across large volumes of news.

In 2021, he founded Factiverse and was shortly joined by the award-winning author and journalist Maria Amelie, who became CEO and co-founder to commercialise the technology.
