How accurate is the fact-checking, and who decides what's true?
Factiverse doesn't rule on truth. It finds claims, retrieves what credible sources say, and shows whether the evidence supports, disputes, or doesn't cover the claim. Every verdict links to the sources behind it. Editorial judgement stays with your team and you can adjust the sources it checks to your preference.
What sources does it check against?
Live web search across news outlets, fact-checkers, and academic and institutional sources, weighted by credibility. Not a fixed database, so recent events are covered. The source pool is configurable: prioritise the outlets your desk trusts, exclude the ones it doesn't, and narrow by language or region. Every result shows its sources.
How does it fit into our existing workflow?
Two ways: the Gather web app, or the API. Gather works out of the box, nothing to build. The API lets you pipe results into tools your team already uses. Viestimedia runs it inside Renki. SVT receives a single morning briefing by email. Setup takes a couple of days at most.
What happens to our content and data?
Your material isn't used to train models and isn't shared. Factiverse is a Norwegian company operating under GDPR and EU AI Act requirements, with EU-hosted deployment as standard.
